Lake View Presbyterian Church Education
Educational programming for children, youth, and adults is offered throughout the school year. In addition, retreats and other one time forums are held from time to time. Registration for all classes takes place at the back of the sanctuary or you may call the church office at 773-281-2655. Please refer to our calendar page for the most up to date course offerings.
The NINERS On Sunday mornings at 9:00 you will find a loyal group of students who meet regularly for study and discussion. Their emphasis changes through the year and may be centered around a specific book in the Bible or may follow the specific texts that will be used in worship on that day. Whatever the topic, the discussion is guaranteed to be spirited! Begin @ 10 Back for it's second year! Watch a video, have a cup of coffee, share thoughts and questions about faith and daily life. Join us Sunday mornings in the chapel. The format will look something like this:
At 10:00 each Sunday morning, we offer Christian Education for the children in our congregation. Classes for children ages 3 - 11 are held each Sunday during the school year. In addition, retreats and youth activities are planned for our older youth. Children are an integral part of our life at Lake View and the intergenerational setting makes nurturing our young people a joy and a privilege! The young adults gather on
Wednesday evenings for a time of food and fellowship. Come after work
and bring something to share for dinner at 6:30 pm. Bible study begins
at 7:00 pm. This is an easy-going group of young adults wrestling with
what it means to be a faithful Christian in the twenty-first century.
